Hallo Michael,

schön das es dir gefällt.
Die gezeigten Bahnhöfe sind in der Tat nur Fernverkehr (Augenrollen), der Nahverkehr wird in den Großstädten über 1-2 seperate Kopfbahnhöfe abgewickelt. So wie hier in Zürich.
   

Die kleineren Städte habe in der Regel nur direkte Verbindung zur nächsten Großstadt.
Die dort gebauten Kopfbahnhöfe sind manchmal notwendig so wie hier in Brunsmund.
   

Meistens gibt es allerdings kein wirklich überzeugende Begründung, allerdings habe ich versucht das Gelände so zu gestalten, das sie einigermassen plausibel erscheinen.
   

Im Süden von München ausgehend gibt es allerdings 2 Strecken ( nachZürich und nach Basel) die mehrere Kleinstädte miteinander verbinden und dort Durchgangsbahnhöfe zum Einsatz kommen.
